The CFCN is seeking an Executive Director – an experienced manager who is committed to excellence in services to families and who provides leadership, strategic direction and management in line with the CFCN’s mission and mandate. Working from a home office, the Executive Director is responsible for the CFCN’s day-to-day operations. Direct service to families and their incarcerated family members is also required.

Minimum qualifications are a BA, with preference given to candidates with a Master degree; 3-5 years progressive management experience, experience working with a board of directors in the not-for-profit sector; demonstrated ability in financial management, staff and volunteer supervision, proposal writing and fund development. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required and proficiency in written and spoken French is an asset. The successful candidate is required to submit to and achieve clearance to enter federal correctional facilities.
