In Winnipeg

The 2012 National Restorative Justice Symposium will be held this year from November 18-20  in Winnipeg.  Onashowewin Justice Circle and Manitoba Planning Committee will host the three day symposium, featuring keynote speakers Justice Murray Sinclair (Chair,Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada) and Johnathan Rudin (Program Director, Aboriginal Legal Services of Toronto). In partnership with Montreal Community Chaplaincy (ACMTL), the Centre for Services in Restorative Justice (CSJR), and Montreal-Southwest Community Ministries (MCSM), CCJC-Quebec will host events in Montreal throughout the week of November 18-25. In Ottawa

This year, the Church Council on Justice and Corrections is collaborating with members of the Ottawa Restorative Justice Network to host a special event for Restorative Justice Week.  The event will feature a presentation by Katy Hutchison, whose Story of Bob explores one victim’s journey with Restorative Justice.  Click here for more information.
