“STEP BY STEP” ONE-DAY SYMPOSIUM – February 9th, 2012 – KINGSTON, ON
The Victims Advisory Committee Ontario – Nunavut Region in partnership with Correctional Services Canada (CSC) and Parole Board Canada (PBC) is pleased to offer a one-day symposium to heighten awareness surrounding victim-related issues.

Ed and Dawn Novak – parents of Natalie Novak, murdered by her estranged boyfriend;
“Since the tragic murder of their 20 year old daughter Natalie, in 2006, Dawn and Ed Novak have been deeply committed to the education of young people on the topic of abusive relationships. Together they have authored a document entitled “A Constructive Analysis of the Murder of Natalie Novak”, that examines our social response for abused women. Currently Dawn and Ed are promoting their educational video, “If Only…..…Nat’s Story”. Parents of slain girl hope DVD will prevent tragedies
