The Church Council on Justice and Corrections is a national, non-partisan, faith-based coalition rooted in the Christian tradition. The objects of the corporation are:
-to advance crime prevention and healthy community development through restorative approaches to criminal justice and corrections, with CCJC members, religious communities, justice organizations, and the public.
-to propose ways to improve the criminal justice system from a restorative justice perspective through compassionate and accountable responses to crime with CCJC members, the criminal justice community, and legislators.
-to facilitate healing and recovery of offenders and victims of crime through referrals, educations, and network building.
