The Stuart Ivison Memorial Lecture Series
First Baptist Church Ottawa is pleased to announce The Stuart Ivison Memorial Lectures: “Let Freedom Reign”: Perspectives on Public Values in the Twenty-First Century. This lecture series, named after First Baptist Church’s longest serving minister, will feature speakers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Over the course of ten months, from September 2012 to June 2013, a monthly speaker will engage with the theme of public values in the twenty-first century. The series commences at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 as Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre, Paul Dewar, will speak on the legacy of Tommy Douglas. All are welcome.
