In March 2013, “Incarcerated Mothers: Oppression and Resistance” Edited by Rebecca Bromwich and Gordana Eljdupovic was published by Demeter Press in March 2013.

The work is a collection of essays based on the experience of mothers who are incarcerated.  It is the first such work to focus on and reflect primarily the Canadian context.  By presenting the Canadian context alongside related issues of incarceration and motherhood in other countries, “Incarcerated Mothers” situates Canadian mothers within a transnational scope.  See below and click here to order and for more information about “Incarcerated Mothers”.
