Our Mission

The Church Coucil on Justice and Correction (CCJC Quebec) promotes restorative justice based on christian faith by interveining with the legislator, the delinquant, the victim, the community, and society. It is with the help of research and support activities with individuals in a growth process that we accomplish our mission.

Our Action

CCJC – Quebec denotes itself by:
1. its envolvment in promoting actvities troughout the Restorative Justice Week and other weeks alike,
2. its presence for incarcerated individuals, men and women, the most isolated,
3. its search, along with the community, of alternatives to incarceration,
4. its promotion of the available resources for the victims of violent crimes,
5. its constant training of the volunteers, the parters, and engaged people.

Our Partners

Our mission is possible with the help from community organisations whom have similar mission and objectives, such as:

  • NEO-DÉP,
  • Cœur d’écoute pour femmes,
  • Entrée Libre,
  • Montreal Southwest Community Services,
  • Corporation Jean-Paul Morin,
  • Projet Compassion,
  • Cercles de Soutien et de Responsabilité,
  • Centre de services de justice réparatrice,
  • Regroupement canadien d’aide aux familles des détenus,
  • Comité d’accompagnement de détenus, détenues en palliatif,
  • L’ASRSQ,
  • Le SCC.

These are all people who are ready to get collectively involved in the research and implementation of a restorative justice.
