Bill C-10 Resources
In an effort to help our members and communities reflect upon the changes underway in Canada’s criminal justice landscape, the CCJC will use this section of our website to follow developments on Bill C-10 (the Omnibus Crime Bill). Many groups have published compelling statistics and policy analysis on the proposed legislation, and will continue to do so as Bill C-10 moves through the legislative process and becomes law. It will be CCJC’s ongoing work to provide a faith-based perspective on the unfolding political debate, to contribute to the dialogue from the perspective of a justice that seeks to heal and to foster growth. Where the words and work of others help to illuminate the discussion, or provide a useful background, we will link to their materials.
